Healthcare Mobile App

The Challenge

The product team needed a mobile app that non-technical users could adopt quickly. Previous designs looked good in mockups but failed in daily use—confusing onboarding, unclear next steps, and unreliable notifications.

Our Approach

We ran user-flow workshops, simplified onboarding to essential steps only, and prototyped key screens before writing production code. Push notification timing and content were designed alongside core workflows—not added at the end.

UX & Product Strategy

Each screen answers one question: what should the user do next? We removed features that looked impressive in demos but added friction in real usage. Accessibility and legibility were prioritized for users working in varied lighting conditions.

Technical Architecture

React Native application with a Node.js backend and Firebase for authentication and push delivery. API contracts were documented upfront so mobile and backend teams could develop in parallel.
